Dr. Quinones brings over 20 years of clinical experience spanning jail cells, rehab centers, and private practice. A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a PhD in Psychology, graduate training in forensic psychology, and certification as a Human Behavior Consultant, she has spent her career at the intersection of trauma science and biblical truth. Her work in toxic relationship recovery is rooted in clinical rigor, not quick fixes — and she has watched the most broken people rebuild their lives from the ground up.

Dr. Donetta Quinones, PhD, LPC, LMHC, is the founder and Clinical Director of GraceRoot Institute and CEO of Academic Research Solutions, Inc. Her professional work integrates psychology, forensic psychology, human behavior consulting, relationship education, and faith-informed personal development.
Her academic background includes a PhD in Psychology from Walden University (conferred 2019), a Master of Science in General Psychology from Walden University, a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Maryland, College Park.

To receive your certificate of completion, you must complete all 6 modules and then pass an 18-question comprehension post-test with a 70% minimum score. The post-test covers content from all modules. You have up to 3 attempts to pass.
