Course Curriculum
Each module integrates clinical science, practical skills, and biblical truth for the couple preparing for covenant marriage.
Module 1
Exploring trauma responses, stress physiology, nervous system activation, and emotional overwhelm. Understanding how past wounds shape present relational patterns — and why this awareness is foundational for every couple.
Module 2
Recognizing reactive behaviors, emotional shutdown, avoidance, and pursuit cycles. Learning to identify your default survival response and how it shows up in conflict — before conflict becomes a pattern.
Module 3
Understanding hyperarousal, emotional flooding, and trigger activation. Building emotional safety when dysregulation threatens connection — practical skills grounded in nervous system science and faith.
Module 4
Building co-regulation skills and safe presence — practical strategies for stabilizing each other's nervous system during stress. How a calming partner becomes one of the most powerful healing forces in marriage.
Module 5
Identifying trigger responses, reenactment cycles, and emotional memory. Developing trauma-informed awareness that protects the marital bond from cycles that replay the past instead of building the future.
Module 6
Cultivating resilience, emotional endurance, and stability. Developing a healing-centered marriage rooted in mutual support, shared covenant, and the confidence that your bond can survive hard seasons.
