Grace in the Middle

A trauma-informed, faith-integrated step-parenting course for families trying to build trust, reduce loyalty conflicts, protect the couple relationship, and create stability in the middle of blended-family complexity.

Why Enroll

Blended families often carry grief, competing loyalties, discipline tension, co-parenting stress, and pressure on the marriage. Grace in the Middle helps families slow down, name what is happening, and build practical patterns that support emotional safety.

Attachment

Build trust slowly

Understand why children may resist closeness, test adults, or grieve what changed before they can receive a step-parent's care.

Structure

Reduce household conflict

Create discipline, boundaries, communication rhythms, and family rituals that protect dignity while supporting consistency.

Marriage

Protect the couple bond

Learn how biological-parent roles, rejection, loyalty pressure, and co-parent stress can affect the marriage and how couples can stay aligned.

Court-Related and Relationship Use

Grace in the Middle may be used as a relationship education course for blended families or as court-related/referral education where a referring authority accepts step-parenting or blended-family education. GraceRoot provides course access, completion tracking, and completion documentation. Acceptance is determined by the court, agency, attorney, caseworker, employer, or referring authority.

Scope note: This course is educational. It is not therapy, legal advice, custody advice, crisis support, a parenting evaluation, or a guarantee that any court or agency will accept the certificate. Participants should confirm requirements before purchase when completion is being used for a specific referral or court matter.
