Dr. Quinones brings over 20 years of clinical experience spanning jail cells, rehab centers, and private practice. A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) trained in Clinical and Forensic Psychology and a certified human behavior consultant, she has spent her career at the intersection of trauma science and biblical truth. Her work in toxic relationship recovery is rooted in clinical rigor, not quick fixes — and she has watched the most broken people rebuild their lives from the ground up.

Dr. Donetta Quinones, PhD, LPC, LMHC, is the CEO of Academic Research Solutions, Inc. and creator of the “Daring You to Be YOU! (DAREU2BU)” and “The Battle of the Bulge Begins in the Mind (BOBBIM)” programs, with 20 years of customer service experience and over a decade of research and training experience.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, specializing in English Literature and International Relations, she worked as a licensed commercial property and casualty insurance agent before completing a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology at Argosy University. Her interest in the mental health community led her to earn a Master of Science in General Psychology from Walden University and become certified as a Human Behavior Consultant from the Christian Coach Institute.
Dr. Quinones holds a Doctoral degree in Psychology from Walden University. Her exposure to the military community as a military spouse reinforces her commitment to bridging the gap between the behavioral health sector and those who need its services. She has published several personal and spiritual development journals to assist clients and the general public in making positive change in their lives.
Modules in this course range from approximately 60 to 95 minutes each. You move at your own pace — there are no deadlines or session windows. Most students complete the full course over 3–6 weeks.

To earn your 6.0 CE credits, you must complete all 6 modules and then pass a 18-question comprehension post-test with a 70% minimum score. The post-test covers content from all modules. You have up to 3 attempts to pass. Once you pass, your CE certificate is automatically issued with the credentials of Dr. Donetta Quinones, PhD, LPC, LMHC.
