Understanding Borderline Personality Disorder Through a Trauma-Informed, Christ-Centered Lens — Finding Stability, Building Relational Integrity™, and Restoring Hope for Individuals and Families
About This Course

Beyond Stereotypes, Toward Solid Ground

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is one of the most misunderstood, stigmatized, and emotionally painful mental health conditions affecting individuals, couples, families, and communities. Its intense emotions, unstable relationships, impulsivity, fear of abandonment, and identity disturbance rarely occur in isolation — they emerge from complex interactions between biology, temperament, attachment disruptions, developmental trauma, invalidating environments, and chronic relational insecurity.

For many families, loving someone with BPD can feel like walking on a thin line with no firm foundation — never knowing what will trigger the next crisis, conflict, withdrawal, or reconciliation, and carrying guilt, confusion, exhaustion, and fear. This trauma-informed, Christ-centered course moves beyond blame to a compassionate, evidence-based understanding, equipping both individuals living with BPD and those who love them with practical skills for emotional regulation, relational stability, healthy communication, secure attachment, and lifelong recovery through GraceRoot Institute's Relational Integrity™ Framework.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
