Founded by Dr. Donetta Quinones, GraceRoot Institute was established to translate decades of clinical experience, leadership development, and interdisciplinary research into accessible educational programs that serve diverse populations. Dr. Quinones is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), with a PhD in Psychology and graduate training in forensic psychology, and provides the academic direction that shapes the Institute's curriculum and standards.
GraceRoot Institute's educational programs are informed by an Advisory Board representing expertise in behavioral health, education, leadership, ministry, military service, organizational development, and community engagement. The Advisory Board provides strategic guidance, subject-matter expertise, curriculum review, and thought partnership to support the Institute's mission of delivering high-quality, evidence-informed, trauma-informed, and faith-integrated educational programs.
