Dr. Quinones brings over 20 years of clinical experience working with families, youth, and individuals navigating systemic trauma, including foster care, juvenile justice, and child protective services settings. A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a PhD in Psychology and graduate training in forensic psychology, she understands what young people in transition need: practical skills, clear frameworks, and a path forward. LAUNCH! Get Ready for Life is built on that foundation: research-informed, trauma-aware, and grounded in real transition challenges.

Who is LAUNCH! Get Ready for Life for?
LAUNCH! Get Ready for Life is for young people preparing for independent life, including recent high school graduates, college and graduate-school transitioners, former foster youth, immigrants and newcomers, young parents, first-generation students, workforce-entry learners, and participants referred by agencies or sponsors.
Is this the Texas DFPS PAL program?
No. The GraceRoot LAUNCH! Get Ready for Life program is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Texas DFPS or the Texas Preparation for Adult Living program. Eligible foster youth should ask their caseworker about free public or state-supported services before purchasing private coursework.
What does the course cost?
LAUNCH! Get Ready for Life: Life Skills & Career Readiness Program is $249 paid in full at enrollment. Agency, sponsor, and scholarship support may still be available for approved participants.
What certificate does the student receive?
Upon completing all modules, students receive a Certificate of Completion issued by GraceRoot Institute. The certificate includes the student's name, course title, hours completed, start and completion dates, and a unique certificate ID. Participants may share it with agencies, schools, sponsors, workforce programs, transitional housing programs, or personal records as appropriate.
How long does the Life Skills course take?
LAUNCH! Get Ready for Life: Life Skills & Career Readiness Program is 43 hours across 8 modules. It is entirely self-paced, so students can complete it on their own schedule with no deadlines.
Can agencies or sponsors enroll multiple participants at once?
Yes. We offer agency and sponsor enrollment options for organizations placing multiple participants. Use the referral form above or email support@graceroot.institute directly. We offer volume pricing and a simple enrollment management process for partners.
