Co-parenting after separation or divorce is one of the most emotionally complex transitions a family can go through. This course was developed by Dr. Donetta Quinones — a forensic-trained licensed clinician — to give parents research-informed tools for reducing conflict, protecting children, and building a sustainable co-parenting relationship.
It's not a compliance box-check. It's a structured, trauma-informed psychoeducational program that addresses what family courts actually want parents to learn: child-centered communication, conflict management, and the ability to separate personal hurt from co-parenting decisions.
This program is designed to fulfill custody and court-ordered co-parenting education requirements while giving participants real tools they can use immediately.
Upon completing all 8 modules, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from GraceRoot Institute — issued by Dr. Donetta Quinones, PhD, LPC, LMHC — available for family-court or custody-related review by the receiving authority.
Dr. Quinones brings over 20 years of clinical experience spanning jail cells, rehab centers, forensic settings, and private practice. A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a PhD in Psychology and graduate training in forensic psychology, she integrates trauma science with research-informed practice throughout her teaching and curriculum development. She holds dual state licensure and has spent her career working with families in the highest-stakes relational situations — and watching them change.
