Clinical Referral Resource
GraceRoot's structured psychoeducational programs complement active therapy — reducing in-session time spent on concept introduction and giving clients shared frameworks they carry into every session.
The Model
GraceRoot programs are designed for the therapist's client — not to replace therapy, but to serve as structured homework that extends the work of the session into the client's week.
Use the issue-to-course map below to identify the right program for your client's primary concern. Courses are organized by clinical domain so you can match quickly and refer with confidence.
Clients self-enroll at their own pace. All programs are online and self-paced. Use the referral link (?ref=therapist) to track therapist-referred enrollments.
Assign specific modules between sessions. Clients return with reflection, questions, and a shared vocabulary. The conceptual heavy-lifting moves out of session — your time goes to application and processing.
Clinical Referral Guide
Match your client's primary concern to the appropriate GraceRoot program. Multiple issues often warrant multiple courses — see cross-recommendations below the table.

Program Details
Each program below includes the clinical language, target population, and common presenting issues. Designed to help you explain the referral to your client with precision.
An 8-module psychoeducational intervention integrating attachment repair, polyvagal theory, and faith-based clinical practice. Appropriate as adjunct for clients presenting with relational trauma, insecure attachment, grief from relational loss, or early-stage recovery from relationship dissolution. Structured progression from wound identification through nervous system awareness to community reintegration.
Structured group-model psychoeducation addressing codependency, boundary deficits, and recovery from narcissistic and exploitative relational systems. Covers narcissistic abuse cycle identification, trauma bond dissolution, assertive boundary construction, and self-compassion as affect regulation. Ideal for clients exiting high-control relationships or presenting with chronic boundary collapse.
8-course, 48-module curriculum structured for married couples in active or post-intensive therapy. Clinical domains: attachment repair, affect regulation in dyadic systems, communication restructuring, family-of-origin work, role negotiation, emotional labor analysis, forgiveness psychoeducation, and long-term relational maintenance. Each course is a 6-module, self-paced intervention; CE-eligible for clinicians co-enrolling.
CBT-integrated psychoeducation mapping 12 major cognitive distortions directly to six pillars of relational integrity: honesty, accountability, boundaries, forgiveness, trust, and restored relationship. Grounded in cognitive restructuring (Romans 12:2) and clinical behavior theory. Appropriate for clients whose distorted cognition is actively undermining relational repair — particularly those showing minimization, externalization, or victim-identity patterns.
Polyvagal-informed psychoeducation on trigger identification, survival response patterns (fight/flight/freeze/fawn), and maladaptive coping mechanism recognition. Covers the Dark Triad as trauma response framing — appropriate for clinicians working with clients stuck in reactive survival states or presenting with trauma-driven relational disruption. Strong complement to somatic and trauma-focused modalities.
Six court-accepted psychoeducational programs built to state court compliance standards: Parenting Education, DV Intervention, Anger Management, Co-Parenting, Substance Abuse Education, and Child Abuse Prevention. All programs: seat-time verified (60 min/module), pre/post assessment (70% pass threshold), participant agreement, and auto-issued certificate of completion. Suitable for clinical documentation and court submission.
Identity-focused psychoeducation examining how self-perception — distorted through shame, trauma, and relational wound — directly impairs relational integrity capacities: honesty, accountability, boundary maintenance, forgiveness, and trust. The Eye-Dentity framework maps identity distortion to specific relational failure modes. Strong fit for clients presenting with chronic self-worth deficits, chronic boundary collapse, or identity fragmentation.
Comprehensive 12-module psychoeducational program using the TAMI Model (Trauma–Attachment–Moral Integration). Covers fragmentation etiology, nervous system as attachment architecture, trauma reenactment, identity reconstruction, boundary repair, co-regulation, and long-term integration. Appropriate for complex presentations: clients with significant relational history of trauma, identity fragmentation, or multiple prior treatment attempts without durable outcome.
Sequencing Guidance
Many clinical presentations benefit from sequenced referrals. These pairings reflect common comorbid patterns seen in relational and behavioral health work.
Why GraceRoot
GraceRoot psychoeducation is built for the therapist's client — not general audiences. The clinical language, structured progression, and assessment design are built to extend therapeutic work, not replace it.
Clients arrive in session already holding the language — "affect regulation," "trauma bond," "window of tolerance." Concept introduction moves out of session; processing and application move in.
GraceRoot programs deliver 6–12 hours of structured psychoeducation at a fraction of therapy session cost — extending the reach of treatment without extending your schedule.
Each module functions as between-session homework: reflection prompts, self-assessments, behavioral frameworks. Clients arrive having processed content, not just consumed it.
Court-ordered and CE-eligible programs auto-issue certificates of completion upon passing assessments. Documented completion suitable for clinical records and court submission.
Trauma science integrated with biblical theology — not as spiritual bypass, but as a genuine clinical framework for clients for whom faith is a primary meaning-making system. Clinically credible, theologically grounded.
Programs span individual, couple, and court-ordered populations. The Marriage Counseling Series supports both partners simultaneously — aligning the relational system between sessions.
